Streetsboro Board of Education Organizational Meeting

Meeting Summary:

The Organizational Meeting of the Streetsboro Board of Education was called to order on January 9, 2025, at 5:45 PM.

The Organizational Meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Kristin Bedford was sworn in as President, and Tracy Campbell was sworn in as Vice President for 2025. The 2025 board calendar was approved. A $10,000 service fund was approved for 2025. Membership in the Ohio School Boards Association was approved. The board also approved participation in the Ohio School Boards Association Legal Assistance Fund. Sara Scott will serve as the Board’s official legislative liaison for 2025. Tonia Epple will serve as the Board’s official academic liaison for 2025. The district will participate as a member of the Ohio Schools Council and approve the OSC Governance Policy Change Resolution. Kristin Bedford will serve as the Board's official representative to the Streetsboro Tax Incentive Review Council for 2025. Legal Counsel for the district was approved on an as-needed basis.

The Organization Meeting was adjourned at 5:56 PM
