Our guest speaker is Pratik Dash, Political Director at the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC).

Dash grew up in Franklin, Tennessee. After graduating with a master's in computer science, he lived with his grandfather in India for five years. Dash returned to the U.S. in 2014 and joined TIRRC as an organizer in 2015. He has been an integral part of TIRRC's civic engagement campaign, helping register thousands of first—and second-generation immigrant voters. He has also helped build strong, immigrant youth-led canvassing teams to knock on tens of thousands of doors across the state.

His presentation is very timely since Gov. Lee added Immigration Enforcement Legislation to the agenda of the Legislature's special session.
