Save the date! Join us on July 26th in Lompoc for our annual membership business meeting – but you don’t have to be a member to come. All are welcome!

Our Keynote Speaker is Beryl Flom, Chair of the LWV San Diego’s Immigration and Deportation Committee. Her very timely topic is "What Value Are Immigrants?" and will include an update on regional immigration issues.

We will also be celebrating this year’s recipient of our “Making Democracy Work: Founder’s Award” – Primitiva Hernandez, Executive Director of 805UndocuFund, for her organization’s work supporting undocumented families in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. An immigrant from Mexico and a DACA recipient, Hernandez has lived in the California Central Coast since childhood and is the daughter of farmworker parents.

When: July 26, 10:30am-12:30 pm. Light food items will be served

Where: Lompoc Public Library, 501 E. North Ave, Lompoc

Come meet and network with our local members and others of the Amazing North County of Santa Barbara! Learn about our Board and Committee volunteer opportunities.
