If you'd like to attend the beginning of the County Council meeting in Council Chambers at 6 pm to accept the proclamation, we'd welcome you, both men and women, to participate. We plan to wear white, like our founders 115 years ago. So wear a white blouse or shirt. We will bring suffragist sashes like those worn by the women who marched for their right to vote. Plan to arrive at 5:45 pm to have time to put on the sashes.
