ELECTIONS AND THE VOTING PROCESS
• Eliminate barriers to voter registration and participation; increase access to the ballot.
• Support efforts to ensure that elections are transparent and well run.
• Simplify the process for individuals seeking restoration of voting rights.
OPEN AND TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT
• Support printed and electronic access to public records, open meetings, and public notice.
• Oppose fees for viewing public records.
• Opposes the expansion of exemptions to public records.
• Support first amendment rights of freedom of expression.
PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES
• Remove threat of prosecution for medical professionals providing quality of care for
pregnant patients.
• Ensure high quality physical and emotional care for pregnant patients including those
impacted by rape, incest, child sexual abuse, or severe fetal abnormalities.
• Support adequate funding for safety net services and programs providing food security.
GUN SAFETY POLICIES
• Support common sense gun safety laws.
EDUCATION POLICIES
• Support quality public education with adequate public funding, pre-K — 12, for all students.
• Oppose expansion of public funding of private school vouchers.
• Support increased accountability for voucher usage with private schools.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES
• Support state policies to protect and improve air and water quality and address toxic risks.
• Support development of infrastructure for sustainable energy.
• Promote policies that protect the state’s biodiversity.
IMMIGRANT RIGHTS POLICIES
• Support free and accessible public education for all students regardless of family status.
• Support policies that protect due process for individuals.
