ELECTIONS AND THE VOTING PROCESS

Eliminate barriers to voter registration and participation; increase access to the ballot.

Support efforts to ensure that elections are transparent and well run.

Simplify the process for individuals seeking restoration of voting rights.

OPEN AND TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT

Support printed and electronic access to public records, open meetings, and public notice.

Oppose fees for viewing public records.

Opposes the expansion of exemptions to public records.

Support first amendment rights of freedom of expression.

PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES

• Remove threat of prosecution for medical professionals providing quality of care for

pregnant patients.

Ensure high quality physical and emotional care for pregnant patients including those

impacted by rape, incest, child sexual abuse, or severe fetal abnormalities.

Support adequate funding for safety net services and programs providing food security.

GUN SAFETY POLICIES

Support common sense gun safety laws.

EDUCATION POLICIES

Support quality public education with adequate public funding, pre-K — 12, for all students.

Oppose expansion of public funding of private school vouchers.

Support increased accountability for voucher usage with private schools.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES

Support state policies to protect and improve air and water quality and address toxic risks.

Support development of infrastructure for sustainable energy.

Promote policies that protect the state’s biodiversity.

IMMIGRANT RIGHTS POLICIES

• Support free and accessible public education for all students regardless of family status.

• Support policies that protect due process for individuals.
