Meeting Summary:
The Organizational Meeting of the Streetsboro Board of Education was called to order at 5:45 PM on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, by Interim President Tracy Campbell. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Kristina Mattmuller and Sara Scott took the Oath of Office and were sworn in to serve on the Board for 2026.
Tracy Campbell was nominated and unanimously elected to serve as Board President. Tonia Epple was nominated and unanimously elected to serve as Board Vice President.
The calendar of Regular Board meetings for 2026 was adopted. Regular meetings will be held in the High School auditorium on the second Thursday of each month at 5:45 PM.
The regular fiscal year-end financial meeting will be held at the Technology House on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
Finance Committee meetings will be held on the last Thursday of each month in the High School Teacher Lounge at 5:00 PM through May 2026, with additional dates to be determined.
The Order of Business for 2026 was approved.
Board liaisons to the Superintendent, Treasurer, Chief Business Officer, and Board memberships for 2026 were approved.
Board compensation for attended meetings and participation in professional development activities was approved.
The Board approved renewal of its membership in the Ohio School Boards Association.
The Board will continue participation as a member of the Ohio Schools Council and approved the OSC Governance Change Resolution.
Standing authorizations were adopted to allow for efficient management and execution of Board duties.
Tracy Campbell and Tonia Epple were appointed to serve on the Tax Incentive Review Council.
The Organizational Meeting was adjourned at 6:00 PM.
