LWVGY will be meeting at the ESC- Eastern Ohio, which is located behind the MCCTC - Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, located at 7320 North Palmyra Road in Canfield. Our doors will open at 6:30 PM. This is a webinar that will begin at 7:00 PM and end roughly at 8:30 PM. The general public may choose to view this Zoom Webinar from your own home. The registration information is on the graphic. Potential new members of our League are invited to join us.
This is an important program, Presenter is Derek Black, author of Schoolhouse Bruning, who will be discussing threats to public education and his analysis of the education trends taking place, just as we are experiencing new democratic erosion in our nation. Moderated by Dr. Bryan Warnick, OSU Professor and Chair of the Department of Educational Studies.
