You are invited to join hundreds of passionate and engaged League leaders for our biennial national gathering in Chicago.
Why Attend?
National Convention is an opportunity to meet League leaders from across the country, learn more about the work of the League nationally and across the country.
At Convention, you will be able to attend plenary sessions plenary sessions on official League business such as budget, program and election of officers, And you will have the opportunity to participate in education and advocacy workshops, attend training modules, and share ideas and resources with other League members across the country. There will be networking opportunities, and celebrations at receptions, special events, and the awards banquet.
REGISTRATION
The Early Bird Convention fee of $450 includes pre-convention webinars and participation from Thursday afternoon, June 28 through noon on Sunday, July 1 in all trainings, workshops, briefings, caucuses and general sessions. This fee also includes the LWVUS-hosted reception on Thursday evening and banquet and program on Saturday evening.

The Early Bird registration fee is available until June 1, 2018. A fee of $50 will be added to registrations received after that date.

Pre-registration closes on June 6. Anyone wishing to register after that date must do so on-site for the $500 fee. Should you need to cancel your registration, your fee will be refunded if written notification of the cancellation is received in the LWVUS offices by June 15, 2018.
Please do not register as a voting delegate unless you have been asked by the LWVOA to serve as a voting delegate.

HOTEL INFORMATION
The LWV has reserved a block of rooms at the Hilton Chicago starting at $209 per night for June 27 – July 1. This rate is extended to League members for three days before and three days after Convention, depending upon room availability.

ABOUT DELEGATES
Voting Delegates. LWVDC Board selects our delegates. If you are interested in being a delegate, it is a great opportunity to represent Lorain County. Please note that you must be a voting member of our local chapter and willing to attend the convention full time including all plenary sessions. Non-voting Delegates.You don't need to be a delegate to attend! You can register as a non-voting delegate and attend all the plenary sessions, caucuses, workshops, and meet leaguers from across the country.
