The League of Women Voters of North Carolina has released two new animated videos that walk voters through the election process, with particular attention paid to what's new in 2024. 

Misinformation and disinformation are two of the most insidious tools used to undermine our democracy and the proliferation of information sources – particularly on social media – requires voters and the general public to develop a new set of media literacy skills.

For example, what is the difference?
Misinformation: Inadvertently sharing false information without the intent to harm
Disinformation: Intentionally sharing false information with the intent to harm.
