Make sure YOUR ballot is counted! Remember to sign the outside of your ballot envelope with your official signature before turning it in.

If you still have your absentee ballot, you should return it ASAP! Before you do, remember to sign your ballot envelope with your official signature. You can return your absentee ballot to your city or township clerk’s office, to a secure drop box in your city or township, or you can bring your completed absentee ballot to your early voting site or (if you live anywhere other than Detroit) to your polling place on Election Day (August 4) and feed it into a tabulator. After tomorrow, unless you’re serving in the military or living overseas, we no longer recommend returning your ballot by mail.
