Petition drives are gearing up in Michigan. Many circulators will be in our communities in the next year – especially during warm-weather months – attempting to get a minimum of 500,000 valid signatures so that the proposal can be part of the November, 2026 ballot. Between May 24 and July 4, the Metro St. Louis League registered three voters at Juneteenth events, three people at Red Circle Food Pantry, 61 new voters at PrideFest, and 237 new citizens at naturalization ceremonies.
