November 4, 2025 Special Election

Statewide Ballot Measure

In November, voters registered in California will decide if Proposition 50 will be enacted into law, directing the legislature to redraw the boundaries of Congressional Districts in our state. Two of the districts most significantly impacted by Prop 50 are District 1 and District 3, close to home here in Nevada County.

LA Charter Commission

The Los Angeles City Charter Commission is tasked with reviewing the City Charter and developing recommendations for amendments and revisions for consideration by the City Council and Mayor. The City Charter serves as the City's Constitution that governs the structure and operation of the city government.  If you are interested in applying to be a commissioner, or you know someone who would be, please see this link.
