This is a special City Council Meeting to deal with three items that need to be dealt with during the current session.

2023-061 (third reading): An ordinance providing an amendment to the charter of the city of Kent, Ohio, to be submitted at the primary election of March 19, 2023, which will amend Article xii, section 12.02 titled "voting ward apportionment," and declaring an emergency. Passed 6-3 (Kohar, Ferrara, Rosenberg opposed).

2023-081 (2nd reading): An ordinance amending Chapter 351 of the codified ordinances of the city of Kent titled "Parking Generally" and declaring an emergency. Vote on suspension 5 to 4 (Ferraro, Sidoti, Kohar, Rosenberg opposed). Same vote on the second reading.

2023-086: An ordinance authoring the settlement between the city of Kent and Eclipse, and declaring an emergency (Unauthorized). Suspension and adoption were approved unanimously. "
