• Kent City Health Department Annual Report; VISTA Grant for Kent City Health Dept. ($159,062 to hire up to 5 interns with health benefits)
• EPA Grant for Kent City Health Dept. ($25,000 for mosquito control -- won't affect honey bees, birds and pets.)

Streets, Sidewalks & Utilities Committee

• Special Events and Road Closures -- preliminary discussion on special events and road closures
• Citywide Trash Service Bid Preparation -- bids need to be developed so the contract can be awarded in mid May. discussion included: fully automated system, 65 or 95 gallon cans, possible elimination of large spring clean up.
