Meeting Summary:

The meeting started at 7:00pm, beginning with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a short Silent Meditation. Roll Call was taken for the approval of the Field Local Board of Education's March 10, 2025, meeting minutes, followed by the adoption of the agenda for the April 14, 2025, meeting.

Student Representative Makayla Norman reported on the student activities experienced by the students, including the Blood Drive, National Library Week, Drama Club, Boys and Girls Track Team, Baseball Team, and Prom.

The superintendent reported that the demolition of the Central Schools has started.

For the 2025-26 school year, a therapy dog will visit all the district's buildings.

Explanation of the State Budget for public schools and future property taxes was given. There will be a decrease in taxes if there is a carryover from the previous year, and an increase in property taxes if the carryover is less than 30 percent. The five-year forecast will be turned into a three-year forecast. The deadline for passage of the Bill is June 30, 2025. More information will be coming on this matter.

All items in the Superintendent Consent Agenda and the Treasurer Consent Agenda were approved unanimously by all members of the Field Local Schools Board of Education.
