Julie Kenworthy answered questions about her proposed appointment to a city commission
In other business, the Council unanimously passed the $ 10,000-per-owner-occupied down payment assistance plan discussed on April 1. Unanimous. Council member Jeff Clapper thanked the council, saying he’s pushed for this for nearly 20 years, long before he was on the council.
Council also agreed to fund a housing study to assess changes in ownership, zoning, etc. Details to come when the study group is hired.

Council adjourned to review the downtown redesign required by the sewer line replacement.
