Committee Scope and Responsibilities:

The Communications Committee provides internal and external communications to further the mission of the League of Women Voters of Kent. That means our communications volunteers update members on LWV Kent activities and advocacy. We also work to share information with the public about all things voting, important advocacy information and LWV Kent’s public events. 

Volunteer opportunities available include writing/distributing media releases; website, writing copy and learning how to maintain pages; creating graphics for our communications; newsletter, writing and creating (including newsletter updates); sending all member emails with quick access information; liaising with other committees and the board to plan marketing of events; Facebook posting; Twitter posting; and Instagram posting.
