LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF OHIO & KENT CONVENE
OCT. 30 COMMUNITY CONVERSATION ABOUT REDISTRICTING
The League of Women Voters of Ohio is taking the current Ohio congressional map on the road with redistricting experts to share information about the mapping that goes into drawing fair voting districts and to ask voters what they would like to see.
Join the Kent and Ohio Leagues for a community conversation about all things redistricting on Thursday, Oct. 30, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Kent United Methodist Church, 1435 E. Main St., Kent.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Residents from anywhere in Northeast Ohio are encouraged to attend the meeting and share their ideas.
Bring your questions about where the state is in the process. Experts will talk about the current map. Then you can have the mic to talk about changes that you believe would make the map better for your community.
Residents can register at the link HERE.
