Attention LWV Members:  Election Protection volunteers needed!  Every eligible voter deserves to have their vote counted—that’s the cornerstone of our democracy. When eligible, registered voters are turned away from the polls, unable to find their polling place, or otherwise blocked from exercising their rights, our democracy suffers and we are all diminished. 

Election Protection volunteers serve as voters’ first line of defense against confusing voting rules, outdated infrastructure, rampant misinformation, and needless obstacles to the ballot box, and we need more people to help ensure eligible voters have their votes counted here in Ohio. Volunteering for Election Protection could mean a variety of things, from transporting signs to posting on social media to answering the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline.
