August 8 Day of Action -- Postcard Project
LWVPA Volunteers are Needed | Saturday, August 8 | Postcard-Writing Project
LWVPA Members are needed for our League's Postcard-Writing Project as we join LWVUS and other Local Leagues throughout the country for a nationwide Day of Action in honor of the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
Our League has selected a Postcard-Writing Project for our Day of Action!
Thanks to LWVO, we have postcards encouraging voters to check their voter registration, make a plan to vote, and more. Best of all, we will be mailing our postcards to voters who live right here in our own community!
We need you, LWVPA Members, for our Day of Action!
We've designated 4 hours for our project, but whether you have 15 minutes or a couple of hours, we want you! Come and go as your schedule allows. If you haven't done a Postcard Project in the past, be assured we have a fun time. It's not necessary to RSVP -- just show up! Email your questions to lwvperrysburg [at] gmail.com.
