Begins April 8:  Absentee Voting by Mail (aka "Vote-by-Mail") begins:  see instructions below  -- 
Complete, Print, & Mail an Absentee Ballot Application
(Note:  Return your Absentee Ballot by U.S. Mail to your county Board of Elections, postmarked by 05/05/25; OR,
deliver it in person to your county Board of Elections by 7:30 PM on Election Day, 05/06/25.)
April 29 by 8:30 PM:  Absentee Ballot Application must be received by your county Board of Elections.
May 6:  Election Day -- Vote at Your Polling Location

  • Print, Complete, and Return a Paper Voter Registration Cancellation Form; or 
  • If you lived in Wood County Ohio, call the Wood County Board of Elections, 419-354-9120, and ask them to mail the form to you.
  • If your former address was in Wood County Ohio, mail the completed form to:  WCBOE, 1 Courthouse Sq, Bowling Green, OH  43402.
  • Note:  Online Updates are not available for Cancellations. 
  • Don't forget to register to vote with your new County Board of Elections.  To find information on how to register to vote in another state, visit the U.S. Election Assistance Commission’s website.

 →Vote by Absentee Ballot (also known as "Vote-by-Mail")  [Absentee Ballot process:  Voter requests a Ballot Application > Board of Elections mails the Application to the Voter > Voter returns completed Application to Board of Elections > Board of Elections mails the Absentee Ballot to the Voter > Voter completes the Ballot > Voter returns the Ballot to the Board of Elections.]
  • Complete, Print, and Mail an Absentee Ballot Application; or, 
  • If you live in Wood County Ohio, call the Wood County Board of Elections, 419-354-9120, and ask them to mail the Absentee Ballot Application to you.
  • If you live in Wood County Ohio, mail the completed form to:  WCBOE, 1 Courthouse Sq, Bowling Green, OH  43402.
  • Special Note:  Once you have submitted your Absentee Ballot APPLICATION to the Board of Elections, they will mail to you your Absentee Ballot.  Complete the Ballot and mail it via U.S. Postal Service to your county Board of Elections, postmarked by 05/05/25; OR,
  • Deliver it in person to your county Board of Elections by 7:30 PM on Election Day, 05/06/25.
