Budget Notes

Joyce Collard, our treasurer, has provided a document with three columns. 

1. First Column - the budget that was passed last year
2. Second Column - our actual expenditures for last year
3. Third Column - the proposed budget for 2020-2021 that is up for member approval

Take a look at the Income section with two items: 

• One is expected donations
• One is member dues, based on the number of current members. 

Expenditures: 

The National and State Leagues each receive a portion of the dues each member pays. 

Looking futher down - 

• We placed a small amount toward travel to League meetings and conventions
• MyLO is the Web host service we have contracted with the LWV of California to provide 
• We have $500 from the National League that was not spent this year for our redistricting effort due to the pandemic. We are holding this fund until the next campaign. 

* We have a balance of $3771.39 in our general fund.

We have two additional funds: 

1. The Education fund which is used specifically for member and public education activities
2. A CD established from member memorial donations that acts as a reserve.
