League of Women Voter’s Norman Chapter recently had our annual meeting. Dr. Brian Burkhart spoke about the important and exciting work at the Native Nations Center at OU including increasing access to tribal and family documents. He also spoke on the implications of the McGirt Supreme Court decision, and how Oklahoma can look to other states’ work with Native Nations for better law enforcement.

Spirituous raffle prizes from Equity Brewing were given away between the guest speaker and the business meeting.
