Featuring a Timely Conversation on the petition initiative for State Question 836

Curious about Oklahoma’s primary elections and how they could be more inclusive? Join us to learn about State Question 836, a citizen-led petition that could transform Oklahoma’s voting system. If certified for the ballot and passed, SQ 836 would establish an open primary system, allowing all voters to see all candidates on a single, unified primary ballot. That means every candidate faces every voter in every election, creating a fairer and more transparent process.

Presented by:
Pat McFerron, Political Strategist at Oklahoma United
Pat is a founding partner at CMA Strategies, a leading public affairs firm. He brings experience from presidential, U.S. Senate, and gubernatorial campaigns to successful ballot initiatives—including over 20 winning state questions.
