Beaufort league president, Jane Caffrey, said Clowney is nationally known as an expert on
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as well as a delightful and engaging speaker.

formed a committee to help us educate ourselves and the general public. We welcome new
members and greater participation.”
Clowney is an attorney, speaker, author, trainer, and educator. She is Assistant District Director
for the US Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and has
investigated workplace discrimination and harassment complaints.
She has also held executive Vice-Chancellor leadership positions with prominent universities
including the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher
Education's Office of the Chancellor.
