About LWVSF

The League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) is a nonpartisan political organization. In accord with the LWVUS, the LWVSF encourages the informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The purpose of the LWVSF is to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation in government and to act on selected governmental issues.

The LWVSF may take action on local government measures and policies in the public interest in conformity with the policy of the LWV of the United States. The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose nay political party or candidate.
