Please note that gifts to the League of Women Voters, a 501(c)4 organization, are not tax-deductible.  Gifts to our state Education Fund, a 501(c)3 entity, are tax-deductible. 

If you would like your gift to go directly to the activities of our local Noretheast Tennessee League, make your check payable to the “League of Women Voters of Northeast Tennessee.” This will not be tax-deductible.

If tax-deductibility is important to you, then you should make your  check payable to "LWNTN Educational Fund", which is tax-deductible. Important that you note "For Northeast Tennessee LWV" in the check memo, so the funds will come back to our local League.
