Preview of the 2024 Election Cycle

Featuring County Election Administrators

To preview the upcoming 2024 election cycle, we have invited local administrators of elections (AOEs) to share their perspectives. Dana Jones, AOE of Washington County, and Sarah Fain, AOE of Unicoi County, will highlight some of the preparations, challenges and opportunities in their respective counties. They will also offer ideas about how our League might help locally to “empower voters and defend democracy.” Participating in this program will help prepare each of us to work effectively and with accurate information as we strive to accomplish our mission. 

Prior to the program, we will have a brief a business meeting and election of officers and board member for 2023-2024.  The slate was presented in the last newslater (or can be found HERE.) All members are strongly encouraged to attend so that we can complete these important organizational tasks. 

This free event will take place starting at 2p in the Community Room at Food City, 920 N. State of Franklin in Johnson City, and is open to the public. Light refreshments. For more information, email lwv.netn [at] gmail.com
