Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson will be the featured speaker. Mayor Anderson, who has served as the county’s chief executive since 2002, will share reflections on his 24-year tenure - the longest in Williamson County history - and offer his perspective on the county’s extraordinary growth, challenges, and future.
Mayor Anderson was first elected to the Williamson County Commission in 1986 and served as chairman for 4 years and vice-chairman for 8 years. As mayor he presided over the expansion of the county’s school system, the development of Williamson Health into a regional healthcare network, recruitment of major corporate headquarters, restoration of historical buildings, and consistent maintenance of one of the lowest property tax rates in Middle Tennessee.
