The League of Women Voters of Williamson County will host Allena Bell, School Board Member of the Franklin Special District, and Melissa Wyatt, School Board Member from Williamson County Schools.
Allena Bell has served on the Franklin Special School District Board since 2013. In 2015 and 2017, Bell was selected by TSBA as Master Ambassador for her outreach efforts to increase community awareness and understanding of public education issues. She completed training in state and regional levels to achieve Level V Master Boardmanship in 2017. Bell has also served on the Board of Directors for Youth Leadership Franklin since 2015 and is a 2018 graduate of the adult version of the program known as Leadership Franklin. She received her undergraduate degree in Government from Liberty University. Allena is a busy Mom of four and serves on the Board of Directors for First Citizens National Bank.
Melissa Wyatt was elected to the Williamson County School Board in August 2024, representing the 7th District. Melissa is enthusiastic about our students, teachers, families, and schools. Outside of serving on the school board, Melissa is an active member of Brentwood United Methodist Church, serves as a Class Parent for the Brentwood High School PTO, and is a frequent volunteer with the Friends of the Brentwood Library. Melissa and her husband, Chris, are busy parenting three teenagers. Melissa thinks the best part about serving on the school board is attending school events and celebrating our students and staff.
This meeting is open to the public and no registration is required.
