Author, Marianne Julienne, an editor at the Library of Virginia's Dictionary of Virginia Biography project, will share photos and talk about African American women and suffrage in Virginia, particularly voter registration in 1920. Half the time will be reserved for questions. Julienne earned her history degree at JMU and a Master's in Public History at the University of South Carolina. She has worked at the Library of Virginia since 1999.
