Sharon Shoff, Housing Finance Coordinator with the City of Virginia Beach Department of Housing & Neighborhood Preservation will talk about the factors that affect our region’s housing market.

Shoff is a graduate of James Madison University with a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech. For 22 years, she worked for a non-profit in Virginia Beach that provides affordable housing to families, veterans, and persons with disabilities before coming to work at the City of Virginia Beach, where she is focused on facilitating the development of affordable housing in the City. If gentrification, eviction rates, and persistent housing disparities concern you, plan to attend.
