The League of Women Voters of Benton and Franklin Counties is sponsoring two scholarships to be awarded to local students to honor Marilyn Perkins, a long-time member of the local League, who passed away in 2021. Marilyn’s husband, John, has donated funds to provide these scholarships over a 5-year period. Marilyn was a former teacher and a passionate civic education advocate. Additional funds have been donated by local League members.
