October 28 – November 30  Draft maps - 30-day public review

November 30 – December 7  Draft maps processing

December 7 – December 13  Final map reading/comment time

December 14 –December 17  Commission revise and tentatively adopted plans

December 20 – December 21  County cleanup requests**

December 22    Commission adopted plans

*Recognizing time is short, the IRC decided at the September 9, 2021, meeting to begin preliminary work on draft maps before the grid map comments are compiled.  There is not enough time in their regular Tuesday morning meetings to get the work done.

**To ensure there are no “sliver precincts” (divided sub-county precincts such as voting precincts, school districts, supervisory districts, city wards, etc.)
