Does all that stuff really get recycled?

The public is welcome to our regular monthly meetings to hear local officials speak on topics of interest to the citizens of Pulaski County, and beyond. This month, Ray Partridge will offer a refresher on how to recycle right, provide some insight into the City’s plans for Little Rock’s sustainable future, and answer the question on everyone’s mind – does all that stuff really get recycled?

Ray Partridge is an educator, researcher, and community worker who serves the City of Little Rock in the Sustainability Office as the Recycling & Sustainability Educator. In this role, she provides schools, civic groups, neighborhood associations, and other organizations and individuals with education about Little Rock’s recycling programs and sustainability efforts. She has a bachelor’s degree in History, and Environmental Studies from Hendrix College, and recently completed a master’s in Political Ecology, Economics, and Policy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. At this month’s meeting, Ray will offer a refresher on how to recycle right, provide some insight into the City’s plans for Little Rock’s sustainable future.
