What will Voting Look Like in 2020 ? Learn about what happened in 2018 and future possibilities for 2020 on Thursday, January 24!

Please join us for the League of Women Voters of Butte County Annual “Potluck & Program" on January 24, with special guest speaker Candace Grubbs, Butte County Clerk-Recorder.  The potluck portion of the evening will begin at 6 pm at the Chico Masonic Center, 1110 W. East Avenue, with the presentation portion starting at 6:30 pm.

As our County Elections Officer, Candace will reflect on voter turn-out and voting technologies used in recent 2018 elections, and will share with us what’s on the horizon as she begins to answer our looming question:  “What will voting look like in 2020?” Learn about voter registration, provisional ballots, and potential voter service centers.  There will also be opportunities for a robust question and answer period. Bring a friend!

We are also proud to announce the winner of the LWVBC Mita Markland Award for Outstanding Community Service at the Potluck.

If you have yet to RENEW your 2019 Membership with the League, please be assured that your renewal of $60 per individual or $90 per household will still be accepted via our PO Box 965, Chico 95927…. AND in person at this Potluck next week.
