IBCAG Seeks Input on Proposed Changes to B-Line *

- The Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG) has scheduled the third virtual community workshop to obtain feedback on proposed service changes to Butte Regional Transit (B-Line).

- BCAG is encouraging community members to share their thoughts on proposed improvements in the Draft Plan at the virtual workshop on May 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

- Both the Coronavirus pandemic and the Camp Fire in 2018 directly impacted transit ridership and how Butte County residents travel through the region. To adjust to these significant events, BCAG has prepared the Draft Routing Study to evaluate ridership trends and define B-Line services, routes, and schedules that best meet the region’s future mobility needs.

- "As we move into the final phase of this study, it is critical to hear from the community on the proposed service changes to best serve Butte County,” said Jon Clark, Executive Director of BCAG. “As the region changes, B-Line has identified systemwide updates to better meet the needs of transit users.”

- For questions about the study, visit www.blinetransit.com or contact Sara Cain at scain [at] bcag.org  or at (530) 809-4616.
