LWVC Convention 2023 Is Coming Soon

      Registration is open now for the 69th State Convention of League of Women Voters of California:

• Friday, May 19, to Sunday, May 21, 2023
•       Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA, 50 3rd Street, SF
• Attendance is open to everyone; all League members are encouraged to attend; members of the public are welcome to come and learn about the League.
• OUR VOTING DELEGATION: While the convention is open to all, our League is entitled to send 4 voting delegates (based on our membership numbers).  As of this date, it looks like we will have a full delegation of four.   However, there may always be a change of plans.  Please let me (Satsie) know by answer to this email if you are interested in serving as a delegate if the opportunity arises.

 If you are thinking about going, please know that the Hyatt Regency Hotel is offering a special room rate of $229-239 per night— but you must book by April 17 to secure this rate. Visit the Convention website to book online, or you can call the hotel and mention the LWVC Convention. Don’t get caught without a room by waiting until the last minute; rooms may sell out before that date!
