Join the League of Wopmen Voters of Butte County for an informative discussion of the implications of Congressional Redistricting for our communities. Speakers will share a nonpartisan perspective of the  ramifications of Prop 50 for the areas we serve Topics include:

• How Congressional Districts are Chosen, presented by Dr. Diana Dwyre professor of political science at Chico State Universitiy
• The Recent Reshaping of Northern California Districts, presented by community activist David Welch
• Plus an update on a special election to fill the District 1 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives

Members and guests are welcome to join us for coffee snacks and conversation prior to the presentations. We also encourage guests to bring gifts of non-perishable food to share with the pantries at Chico State and Butte College.
