This year the state Advocacy Team is hosting a State Advocacy Team Question and Answer Event on January 26 at 7 PM. The event is open to anyone interested in working on state-level League advocacy. Please let your members know about this opportunity – they can sign up here. A few things to note:
- Last year we recorded our Advocacy Teach-In and Tune-Up and created an online “binder” of materials. So, instead of holding the training this year, we are hosting the Q & A event noted above. We strongly recommend reviewing the video and materials prior to the event.
- Here are the materials for self-study prior to the event:

This webinar reviews how the LWVC forms positions and acts, California’s legislative process, how to build issue proficiency, and a framework for understanding and analyzing legislation.
