  6. County Contract/Adopt-a-Center: Satsie updated the board on the county’s decision not to renew the League  contract and the decision not to participate in Adopt-a-Center this year. the county contract has been lost ($3.000). No reason was given but the suggestion was county budgetary issues; it is not the League’s fault. We lost another $3,000 for not providing staff at the VAC. This was our own choice because of the new conditions. We will discuss this and other ways to raise funds at the planning meeting.
  7. Collaboration: The board discussed offers of collaboration with Jennifer Wilking from CSU Chico and Kendra Tyler of the Glenn County Office of Education.  Kendra is looking for help on creating opportunities for students to earn a civics seal.  Janet will set up a date for us to discuss this possibility.
