Do you know someone 18-25 who might be interested in getting more involved in their community? The Youth Engagement Coffee Hour is a laid-back way for young adults to get to know the League. We'll give young adults a chance to connect with other young League members, chat about civic engagement, volunteering, and advocacy, and learn about current League projects. If you know a young person who's looking for community, connection, and a way to make a difference locally, pass this along!

Tuesday, September 29th, at 6:30 (doors open at 6:00), at the Oldemeyer Center in Seaside, a Candidates Forum for the Seaside Mayor and City Council will be held.  This event is co-sponsored by Sustainable Seaside.

The League of Women Voters will walk attendees through this election's key measures, sharing clear, balanced pros and cons so you can vote with confidence. 

Wednesday, October 7th, from 6:00-8:30 pm  at the Hartnell College Steinbeck Hall, Student Center, Bldg. C, a Candidates Forum for the Salinas Mayor and City Council will be held.  

Come and hear the candidates for Guadalupe City Council answer questions regarding local issues.
