Why only Facebook and Instagram? Don’t you care about other social media channels?

Yes!  We do care about other social media channels.  And it’s possible in the future that we will expand the scope of this offer.  At this time, these are the main channels that Leagues have extensive reach with and will provide the most opportunity for growth and engagement.

Can we still also post our own social media?

Absolutely!  You can still post any social media you would like, and the LWVC provided content will still be there.

What if we don’t like your post? Can we get rid of it?

For sure.  You still have control over your social channels.  Your admin can log in and delete anything the LWVC posts to your page.

Why is there a cost?

Because it costs money to create and post relevant and fresh content.  The staff conceptualizes content that is applicable to all Leagues in the state, designs that content, and posts the content.  It costs money to answer League questions and provide customer support, and it costs money to oversee and evolve the program in time.  We also have to pay for the technology that allows us to post across multiple channels for multiple organizations.  We kept the cost as low as possible.  The cost is much lower than any communications agency or reputable independent contractor - who you would have to train and manage - would charge for a similar service.

We have a fabulous volunteer handling our social media.  We don’t need it.

Will you do custom posts for us if we request them?

No.  At this time, we cannot provide specialized, custom posts for local Leagues.  All subscribed Leagues will receive the same content, and we will speak with one voice.

Are you going to use our social media to fundraise?

No. Posts to your social media through the One Voice Social Program will not include any direct fundraising asks/solicitations.

We’re a local League in a different state - can we sign up for this?

You can, but the content will be California-specific and may not be particularly engaging or relevant for your audience.  This program is designed specifically for Leagues in California.
