The Mother Lode

The Mother Lode

Thank you                   Thank you                  Thank you

We had such a wonderful time at our fundraiser last Thursday. Murphys Creek Theatre generously allowed us to host the preview night of their play, "What the Constitution Means to Me." It is so powerful and poignant. If you couldn't join us last week, don't miss this play!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a very fun and successful evening, we had a full house! We truly appreciate the incredible support we receive from our community.

Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Our Mother Lode unit was begun in 2018 by a small group of women and men who were concerned about the democratic process in our local communities. We have grown to nearly 100 members and reach hundreds more through our registration/education events, candidate forums, monthly newsletter, and website. We became an official League in 2021.

We are grassroots and local; citizens with a mission to Empower Voters and Defend Democracy. We envision a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge, and the confidence to participate in our government.
