Dr. Jean Reith Schroedel is a Research Fellow and Professor of Political Science at Claremont Graduate University. She is the author of "Voting in Indian Country" and will discuss the inequities and challenges on- and off-reservations.
We will be reading and discussing "The Personal Librarian" by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray. Lois Smith will be leading the discussion.
Speaker will be Sadaf Rahmani, Public Affairs Director, Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties. She will be speaking about "The Future of Reproductive Rights in a Post-Roe America".
Speaker will be Cynthia Cannaday, JD, member of League of Women Voters Pasadena. She is active on the League's Natural Resources Committee. The title of her talk is "Ten Actions That Local Governments Can Take To Reduce Greenhouse Emissions".
Join us for a special meeting of Lunch with League. Instead of a guest speaker, our Education and Housing committee chairs will introduce an exciting project proposal to aid housing and food insecure students at our three local colleges.
