As you may have seen in the news, on Monday President Donald Trump posted that he will lead a "movement" to get rid of mail-in ballots and voting machines, claiming, without providing evidence, that they lead to voter fraud.

In response to that post, the League of Women Voters CEO, Celina Stewart, Esq., issued this statement saying that eliminating vote-by-mail is a direct attack on Americans’ freedom to vote.

Our democracy is strong when every eligible voter can make their voice heard, whether at a polling place or through a mail-in ballot.
