URGENT CALL FOR A

PRESS RELEASE COORDINATOR

Please consider getting involved by offering your time and talent to coordinate the writing of press releases for local newspapers and electronic news.

What is needed? The Press Release Coordinator will:

• write short introductions to news outlet contacts when sending flyers and other notices of League events that we wish to appear in their news
• work closely with the Communications Committee Chair when responding to requests from a League committee to issue a press release
• work closely with the LWV-PA President Martha Zavala, who approves all press releases before they are sent to news outlets
• send press releases to specific news outlets using our database and contact info
