The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and
active participation in government.  We work to provide objective innformation on critical
public policy issues and conduct public forums to increase awareness of candidats seeking office.  

Join the League, and you will play an active role in our democracy while contributing to your
local community.  As a member, you can help shape the direction of LWV-Pasadena Area and help achieve our important work.

People of all genders are welcome.  You can participate in our work as much or as little as your
schedule allows.  We have committees representing many diverse interests.  Add your voice and
experience to our 100+ year-old organization.

Members receive a copy of our newsletter, The Voter, which includes descriptions of our
important work, opportunities for involvement, and upcoming forums and events.   New 
members will have contact with a League buddy to answer questions and help connect
you to events and activities of interest to you.

You will become a member of the League of Women Voters of California (LWVC) and the
League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) automatically when you join our League.
