The Board of the LWV Los Angeles County Inter-League Organization (ILO) is seeking new members. Inter-League Organizations (ILOs) are formal LWV organizations recognized by the LWV United States. ILOs are established because their members understand the need to work together at the regional level to most effectively and responsibly solve problems that transcend political boundaries.

The Nominating Committee is hard at work. If you or another member you know wants to stretch a bit and get involved in interesting and compelling work at the county level, we’d love to hear from you. The ILO speaks to Los Angeles County issues both in Voter Services and Advocacy. It also plays a crucial role in coordinating work among all local Leagues in L.A. County. Board members get to see League and its members at work and make new friends and connections. If you know someone who would make a good candidate—or you are interested yourself—please fill out the application form and return it to Chris Carson at cscarson1 [at] outlook.com.
