The Board of Directors met via Zoom in November. Here is a summary:

• Preparations for the Winter Wonderland Celebration are in full swing! Proof of vaccination is required at the door of Maxwell House in the Western Justice Center.
• LWV-PA is seeking nine members willing to be tabletop discussion leaders for our Thursday with the League Program Planning event on January 20, 2022, at the Pasadena Senior Center. The deadline to apply to be a discussion leader is December 15, 2021.
• LWV-PA has written a letter to the Pasadena City Council regarding the selection criteria for a new city manager.
• LWV-PA continues to move forward with its support of the Pasadena Tenant Justice Coalition, and a motion for a $1,000 donation was approved.
• The Nominating Committee is still looking for a member to fill one vacant position on the Board.
• LWV-PA wants to become more solidified in advocacy in surrounding communities and is interested in finding members who live in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas to review city council meeting agendas in order to identify advocacy and actions LWV-PA might take.
